Biography

I believe it is imperative to provide a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for everyone I work with. My approach to therapy values diversity while acknowledging the reality of marginalization, inequity, and injustice. My style is non-coercive, non-pathologizing, sex-positive, and harm reduction-based.

Therapy with me may look or feel a little different—I’m neurodivergent and bring myself authentically and genuinely into my work, and I encourage and support you in doing the same!

My therapeutic areas of focus include, but are not limited to: Complex Trauma/C-PTSD, Insecure Attachment Patterns, Women's Issues (socio-political and health), ADHD, Autism, and LGBTQIA+ Counseling.

I utilize a mix of therapeutic approaches, including Attachment-Based Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Coherence Therapy, Somatic & Experiential Techniques, Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, and Feminist Therapy. I work with clients to find the best approach(es) to fit their needs.

I enjoy using Somatic & Experiential Techniques to help clients uproot their trauma rather than just treat symptoms. With a focus on how trauma responses, attachment adaptations, and our nervous system adjust to help us survive—rather than viewing them as “maladaptive” or through a pathologizing lens. I have found experiential and somatic techniques to be particularly beneficial for clients that feel “stuck”, have tried various therapeutic approaches without success, are unable to access feelings, or intellectualize rather than feel.
